Waitlisted in meet

Last updated on Jan 27, 2026

Being placed on the waitlist doesn't necessarily mean you won't get to play. Depending on the meet settings and capacity, your status is determined by both availability and host requirements.

Common Reasons for Being Waitlisted

  • The Meet is Full: If all available spots have been taken, you will automatically be placed on the waitlist.

  • Automatic Advancement: If a confirmed participant drops out or cancels their RSVP, the system will move the first person on the waitlist into the open spot.

  • Host Requirements: Sometimes you may be waitlisted even if the meet is not yet full. This often occurs because the host has specific criteria for participants, such as:

    • Payment Verification: Requiring you to pay a fee before your spot is confirmed.

    • Skill Level Checks: The host may need to verify your DUPR rating or skill level to ensure balanced play.

What Should I Do?

If you are on the waitlist and unsure why, the best course of action is to contact the host directly to ask about their specific requirements for earning a spot in the session.

Still Having Trouble?

If you believe there is a technical error—such as being stuck on the waitlist for a meet with many open spots and no specific requirements:
