How to remove prizes in competition

Last updated on Jan 27, 2026

As a tournament administrator, you have full control over the rewards and accolades given at the end of your event. You can customize the name and description or remove specific placements entirely.

Required Steps to Remove or Disable an Award

If you want to remove the 2nd or 3rd place prizes from your competition:

  • Select the Award: Open your competition and navigate to the Prizes/Awards section. Tap directly on the specific award you wish to remove (e.g., "3rd Place").

  • Disable the Prize: Tap the three dots ("...") in the top right corner of the award's detail screen.

  • Confirm Deletion: Select the option to Disable or Delete. This will remove the prize from the public leaderboard and the winners' ceremony.

Customizing Your Awards

You don't have to stick to standard 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place rankings. Reclub allows you to get creative with how you recognize your players:

  • Edit Details: You can change the award name (e.g., from "3rd Place" to "Honorable Mention") and update the description to reflect what the player actually won.

  • Add Diverse Awards: You can add additional honors such as trophies, ribbons, medals, stars, crowns, and more to celebrate different achievements like "Most Improved" or "Best Sportsmanship."

Still Having Trouble?

If the "three dots" menu is not appearing, or if a prize is locked because the tournament has already been finalized, our support team can help you unlock the settings.

Reach Out: Please contact Reclub Support through our feedback channel (Profile > Settings > Help > Send Feedback) so we can assist you with your prize adjustments.
