How does the competition schedule work?

Last updated on Jan 27, 2026

In Reclub, the platform provides a Match Generator, not a fully automated scheduling engine (like a venue-slot booking system). This means the app creates the pairings and brackets for you, but you manage the specific timing of those games manually.

Required Steps to Manage Your Schedule

Once your matches are created, you can control the order and timing yourself:

  • Generate Matches: In your competition, go to the Matches tab and tap "Generate Matches" to create the brackets or round-robin pairings based on your entrants.

  • Set Match Times: Tap on any individual match to open its details. From there, you can manually input the date and time for that specific game.

  • Adjust Order: By updating the times for each match, you can effectively adjust the playing order and ensure your tournament flows correctly across your available courts.

Key Difference: Match vs. Schedule

  • Match Generator: Automates who plays whom (singles, fixed pairs, or rotating partners) and tracks the live standings.

  • Manual Scheduling: Gives you the flexibility to move games around if a court opens up early or if a specific team needs a break. You are in total control of the "Order of Play".

Still Having Trouble?

If you have a large bracket and find manual entry too slow, or if the generator is creating pairings you didn't expect, our team can help you review your competition settings.
