Understanding your DUPR reliability score

Last updated on Jan 27, 2026

The Reliability Score measures your progress toward reaching a rating that accurately reflects your skill level based on your match history and how much you’ve played against the broader DUPR community.

What the Score represents

Your Reliability Score is shown as a percentage between 1% and 100%.

  • It indicates how much the system "trusts" that your current rating represents your actual ability.

  • A lower percentage means the system needs more data, while a higher percentage means your rating is very stable.

What is a "Passing" score?

In the DUPR community, 60% is considered a passing Reliability Score.

  • League Requirements: Many clubs and organizers require a minimum score of 60% for players to participate in official DUPR leagues and tournaments.

  • The Goal: While 60% gets you in the door, the ultimate goal is to reach 100%, which signifies a fully reliable rating.

How to increase your score

To improve your reliability, you simply need to keep playing!

  • Log More Matches: The more results you have in the system, the more accurate your rating becomes.

  • Play Diverse Opponents: Playing against a wide range of players helps connect your data to the rest of the DUPR population.
