How do I get a DUPR rating?

Last updated on Jan 27, 2026

When you first connect a new DUPR ID to your profile, your rating will show as NR (Not Rated). This is a temporary status while the system waits for your first match results to arrive.

How to Get Your Rating

Moving from NR to an official rating is a simple process:

  1. Join and Play: Participate in any DUPR-enabled sessions.

  2. Submit Scores: Once the session ends, ask your host to submit the match scores to DUPR.

  3. Automatic Calculation: DUPR will process those results and update your profile automatically.

What to Expect After Your First Match

As soon as your first valid match is entered into the system, you will receive an initial rating based on that performance.

  • Initial Fluctuations: It is completely normal for your rating to jump up or down significantly after your first few games.

  • Learning Phase: These fluctuations happen because the system is still "learning" your true skill level.

  • Stabilization: Your rating will become much more stable once you are consistently logging matches over time.
