To ensure fair play and protect the community from hiding their true skill level to gain an advantage in competitive events, Reclub maintains a link between your profile and your DUPR ID. However, we have recently updated our policy to allow for more flexibility while maintaining platform integrity.
The 30-Day Connection Rule
You can now disconnect your personal DUPR ID directly within the app, provided that a minimum of 30 days has passed since you first linked it.
-
Within the first 30 days: You will see a message indicating: "You can disconnect your DUPR ID in x days."
-
After 30 days: You will be able to disconnect your DUPR ID.
How to Disconnect (After 30 Days)
-
Navigate to your Profile.
-
Tap on Pickleball sport on your profile.
-
Tap on your current rating.
-
Tap 3 dot menu on top right corner.
-
Select Disconnect DUPR ID.
Why Is There a Waiting Period?
This 30-day requirement is in place to protect the Reclub community from several issues:
-
Preventing Rating Resets: It ensures players don't frequently jump between accounts to "reset" or hide their official ratings.
-
Ensuring Consistent Data: It allows enough time for match results from a specific period to be accurately reflected on a single, consistent profile.
-
Fair Competition: It discourages the creation of temporary accounts used only for specific tournaments or brackets.
NOTE:
Need an urgent disconnection?
We understand that mistakes happen, such as accidentally linking the wrong account. If you are within the 30-day window but have a critical reason for needing to unbind immediately (e.g., an official DUPR account merge), please Message Us Directly.
How to find us: Open your Inbox in the app and start a chat with Reclub Support. Our team will review your request and assist you!
